- Using a Microsoft Mouse with PC-Write Version 2.7 October 1986
-
- The RIGHT BUTTON acts as the Esc key at all times. During editing it brings
- up the main menu; when prompts or menus are present it cancels them.
-
- While editing, the LEFT BUTTON controls marking text. It turns on marking,
- freezes marking, or clears marking depending on the current marking status of
- the screen.
-
- When menus are present, the LEFT BUTTON acts as the Enter key to execute the
- option highlighted. At prompts that use the current filename or directory as
- the default (switchfile, directory, printfile) it acts as the Enter key.
-
- Pressing BOTH BUTTONS accesses the Help Screen; when the Help Screen is
- present, pressing both buttons acts as the F1 key to continue where you left
- off (the RIGHT button cancels Help and the operation you were doing).
